many invitations should I order?
* We recommend ordering at least 20
extra invitations. Guest lists often
change at the last minute and its
best to be prepared. Ordering extra
invitations can be costly as well
as time consuming.
* Remember each couple should only
receive one invitation ensemble
* Proper etiquette says single invitee
should be allowed to invite a guest
When
should I place my complete order for
my wedding invitations?
* We recommend ordering 4-6 months
prior to your special event. Your
order will take us 4-8 weeks to complete,
depending on the size and complexity
of your order. The more time you give
us, the better.
* We often run special promotions
offering 10% off advance orders (order
placed more than 8 weeks before time
needed).
* All orders are subject to material
availability. The more time you give
us, the greater the guarantee that
your particular material will be in
stock. In the event of a backorder,
we will substitute coordinating available
product.
Do
you accept international orders?
* Yes, we have many international
clients.
* International orders must be paid
in full once order is placed.
* Payment is accepted via credit card
on our online secure server or by
PayPal. Checks will not be accepted.
I
need my invitations in 4 weeks. Do
you offer rush ordering?
* Time permitting, we offer rush ordering.
* If needed in 4-5 weeks, we charge
a 25% fee ($25.00 minimum).
* If needed in 3 weeks or less, we
charge a 40% fee ($50.00 minimum)
* All orders are subject to material
availability. The more time you give
us, the greater the guarantee that
your particular material will be in
stock. In the event of a backorder,
we will substitute coordinating available
product.
* If we can accommodate orders that
have a ship date 5 weeks or less,
payment is due in full at the time
of placing the order, including rush
fee.
* For rush orders shipping under 6
weeks, we request the client return
all proofs, contracts, and payments
no later than 48 hours. Failure to
do so can delay ship date.
When
should I send out the invitations?
* Invitations are commonly sent out
4-6 weeks in advance of your special
event. We recommend that during the
summer or holiday months, that you
give enough advance notice to your
guests to schedule their vacations
around your day.
* It is common practice to send out
Save the Date announcements if you
wedding will be during busy months.

Should
I order a sample?
* We recommend ordering a sample invitation
prior to placing your order. Our papers
are very special and can only truly
be appreciated in their physical form.
* We offer many various personalizing
services and if you don’t see
exactly what you are looking for online,
we can work with you to create your
perfect wedding invitation.
Will
I be credited for the cost of my sample?
* Yes, your account will be instantly
credited for the cost of one sample
purchased if you order your wedding
invitations through Invitations by
Alecia.
How
long does it take to receive a sample?
* We usually send samples out 3-5
days after we receive your request.
* Special orders can take longer to
send out due to the fact that we design
your sample to reflect your invitation
requests.

Envelopes
Are
outer envelopes included in the price?
* Standard outer envelopes are included
in the price
* Special order envelopes range from
$1.00-2.00 per envelope, depending
on the style.
* Although we include standard envelopes
in the total cost of invitations,
your account will not be credited
for envelopes if you decide not to
use our envelopes.
Are
response envelopes included in the
price?
* Yes, response envelopes are included
in the price
* Although we include standard envelopes
in the total cost of invitations,
your account will not be credited
for envelopes if you decide not to
use our envelopes.
Can
I have my response envelopes printed
and stamped?
* Yes, this service is available and
recommended for a small fee
* Invitations will not be fully assembled
unless this service is purchased due
to the fact that you will need to
have access to the inside of the invitation
to insert response envelopes.
* We will send you a link to choose
which stamp style you would like or
you can mail us your stamps.
* The typeface will match your invitations
unless stated otherwise by you.
Can
I use my own envelopes?
* Yes, but we recommend that you order
them prior to ordering invitations
from us to ensure that your invitations
will fit inside the envelopes.
* Although we include standard envelopes
in the total cost of invitations,
your account will not be credited
for envelopes if you decide not to
use our envelopes.
Do
provide an addressing service for
the outer envelopes?
* Yes, we can print your outer envelopes
for a small fee. We prefer the names
and addresses in an excel document.
You will be responsible for proofing
all names and addresses. We will not
be accountable for any errors. Certain
envelopes cannot be printed on due
to their delicate nature. These will
need to be hand-addressed.
* We can recommend modern or traditional
style calligraphers. We will provide
samples of their work upon request.
* We can also print your return address
on the outer envelope.
Why
don’t you use two envelopes?
* Traditional invitations used the
two-envelope style. Our unique designs
use this tradition in a modern way
by created an artful version of this
classic tradition.

Invitations
Will
my invitations arrive fully assembled?
* Your invitations will arrive fully
assembled only if you purchase the
seal and send service.
* Without this service, your invitations
will be shipped requiring the following
assembly:
1. Inserts will need to be stuffed
2. Ribbons will need to be tied
3. Invitations will need to be inserted
into outer envelopes
4. Stamps will need to be applied
5. Extra steps may be required for
special orders.
6. We will assemble one invitation
so that you will know how to finish
the rest.
I
love your invitations but I don’t
see exactly what I want. Can you create
a design for me?
* Of course! We offer a free service
to our customers of created a one-of-a-kind
invitation for your special event.
* The cost will depend on materials
and difficulty of your vision.
* If you give us a general theme and
ideas, we will work to create a special
and unique invitation for you.
How
much postage will my invitation require?
* Many of our designs require only
a first class stamp, but it is always
recommended that you take an invitation
to the post office to have them weighed
and sized for postage.
* Square shaped invitations always
require extra postage.
* If you purchase our seal and send
service, we will ensure that the proper
postage is affixed to your invitations.
* If you order handmade outer envelopes
they need to be taken to the post
office and ask for hand canceling.

How
do you ship the invitations?
* We carefully package our invitations
to ensure their safe arrival using
USPS, UPS or FedEx.
* You are responsible for the cost
of shipping. Please be aware that
shipping can cost anywhere between
$20-$80.
* Expedited shipping is available
and will add to the total cost of
shipping.
Do
you ship internationally?
* Yes, the cost runs quite high -
$50-100
* Please note that all international
orders must be paid in full once order
